Beauty brand Glossier takes full floor at Stellar’s One SoHo Square
Beauty brand Glossier has taken a full floor at Stellar Management and Imperium Capital’s One SoHo Square.
The company, which signed an 11-year, 26,000 s/f lease, will occupy the entire tenth floor of the property’s East tower. Glossier, which was launched in 2014, was spun off of Into The Gloss, a beauty blog with that generates 1.5 million visitors monthly. The company claims to have a cult following with millennials. “We are grateful for New York State’s support in expanding our team in New York City. It’s where we’ve grown from a beauty blog to a beauty brand and built our community. We are incredibly excited to continue building a team in downtown New York City who will work to further Glossier’s mission of empowering women to feel proud of who they are today,” said Emily Weiss, Founder and CEO, of Glossier.
One SoHo Square, located at 161 Sixth Avenue and 233 Spring Street, is composed of two buildings. One SoHo Square East, a 15-story building, and One SoHo Square West, a 13-story building. Amenities in the office tower include a concierge service, a rooftop deck and private outdoor terraces.
“The addition of Glossier to One SoHo Square further validates our adaptive reuse model that continues to appeal to some of the best and brightest companies in the City,” said Ryan Jackson of Stellar Management. “This is a young, innovative brand and we are thrilled to have them join us in our newly revamped space.
Glossier was represented by CBRE’s Sinclair Li and Daniel Wilpon from CBRE. Meanwhile, Brent Ozarowski, David Malawer, Andrew Peretz and Brian Waterman from NGKF represented Stellar and Imperium.
