Property History
Historically within the property; the walls were painted light-grey and feature square cast-iron pilasters at the perimeter of each three-bay floor, these are accentuated by circular columns in the middle. Every floor is crowned by a projecting cornice, while the facade was painted a neutral grey tone, except for the first floor which has been contrasted in white. Not too common in Manhattan – the property features a fire escape that covers two-thirds of the building’s facade while the top of the building is sheathed in a bracketed metal roof cornice.
